Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. As for her final fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO second round victory. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
