Her birthplace was Santa Monica in California on 26 November 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and her mom Valerie Barba. The family relocated from Point Pleasant in New Jersey when she was 6. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her education in Red Bank Catholic High School. The schooling continued at Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. Also she started playing the violin around the age of four and was called Violin Girl.
